This is a quick demo on using Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max PRO to add a 2011 Honda Civic FD key by OBD. Having the original key 46 chip with 433MHz frequency, following I’m gonna use the Xhorse XNHO00EN Remote for key programming.
Connect VVDI Key Tool Max PRO with car via OBDII cable.
Generate Remote
Remote program >> Honda >> Civic FD >> Civic FD 433 ID46 2161
Put the XNHO00EN Universal Remote into VVDI Key Tool Max PRO coil.
Press “Generate remote”.
Burn success.
Add Key
Turn on ignition with working key.
Immo programming >> Honda >> Civic >> IMMO >> System-46(2006-2011) >> Immo programming >> Add a key
Turn off ignition switch.
Insert working key, switch ignition on.
Turn off ignition switch.
Turn on ignition switch.
If no response within 10s, turn off/on the ignition switch again.
Turn off ignition switch.
Insert new key and turn on within 15s…
Turn off ignition switch.
Switch ignition on.
Turn ignition off.
Switch ignition on.
Whether indicator light is out? Yes
Turn off ignition switch.
Switch ignition on.
Program completed!
New remote can start the car now.
Remote automatically works after programming chip.
Done.
