Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max has the ability to unlock/ renew BMW Comfort Access 2004-2010 smart key. Following I’m gonna use the BMW key to show how it works.
Put BMW key into VVDI Key Tool Max coil to read key info:
Type: Transponder 46 key.
Status: already locked.
BMW 2004-2010 smart key/ comfort access
FCC: KR55WK49147
Chip: PCF7953
As you can see, the key is already locked.
To unlock it, it requires to remove the shell and take out circuit board.
Follow the path in Key Tool Max:
Special function >> Remote renew >> BMW >> 5WK49147 E Series 315MHz Smart Key
There are 2 ways to unlock BMW key:
- Using VVDI Key Tool Renew Adapters: 8 BMW – E Adapter
- Soldering wires.
You can find a detailed connection diagram in VVDI Key Tool Max.
Since I don’t have the renew adapters, so I’ll use Remote Renew Soldering Cable for connection.
Just soldering wires according to diagram.
Click “Unlock” when all was done.
Renew in process…
Unlock success.
Finally let’s go back to check the key info.
As you can see, it’s unlocked now.
Completed and easy.
This is how to use VVDI Key Tool Max to renew BMW Comfort Access smart key. If you have Solder-Free Renew Adapters, that should have saved much time than soldering.
