Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus is able to program a new key for Jeep Compass 2016 via OBD success. Here I’m gonna show the procedure.
Connect VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad with OBD.
Use a working key to turn ignition on, press
Immo programming >> Jeep >> Select from model >> North America >> Compass >> 2007-2017 >> Normal key >> Start programming >> Key count
Switch ignition on.
Current key number is 4.
OK >> Read PIN code
Switch ignition on.
IMMO authorization code: 8489
Go back to press “Program a new key”
Insert a new key to turn on ignition switch.
It will automatically enter the code: 8489, press “OK”.
A new key matched successfully!
Let’s check the key number again, it’s 5 now.
And the mobilizer light on dashboard is now off.
Test the new key, lock & unlock work well, car cranks normally, it’s running.
So this is a new key successfully programmed to a 2016 Jeep Compass with VVDI Key Tool Plus. It is quite easy and fast to finish in 2 minutes.
